What is Tennis Elbow ?
Tennis Elbow, also called Lateral Epicondylitis, is the most common tendon inflammation (tendonitis) at your elbow. There are more than 200,000 people in the U.S suffer from this condition every year!
⭐ Why call it Tennis Elbow?
“Statistics showed that nearly one half of all tennis players will suffer from this injury at some point; however, this group represents less than 5% of all reported cases” – Virginia Sports Medicine Institute
Which means,
The majority of people who suffered tennis elbow actually don’t play tennis at all!

⭐ Signs & Symptoms
Pain located outside of your elbow, sometimes it may radiate to your forearm and wrist area.
⭐ Which Tendon is inflamed ?
Your wrist extensor tendons (the tendon lifts your wrist up) !
⭐ What Activities Cause This Problem ?
Any activities with repetitive wrist motion (i.e. hammering), or lifting objects with extended elbow and palm down (i.e. taking out a gallon of milk from a fridge) can easily irritate your tendon.
High risk occupations including…
* Painter
* Plumber
* Mechanics
* Construction worker
* Computer workers (office assistant, software engineer, accountant)
* Other Racket Sports (badminton, racquetball, squash)
You may already noticed, tennis elbow is actually coming from overusing your wrist and forearm, not so much to do with your elbow !
